41 "Crime Free Mayberry"
Two crooks posing as FBI agents come to town to congratulate
the Sheriff on his low crime rate. The Sheriff foils their attempt to rob
the towns bank.
Episode 42 "The Clubmen"
Andy and Barney are asked
to join an exclusive men's organization. Barney is not accepted so Andy
does not join.
Episode 43 "The Pickle Story"
Andy and Barney
destroy Aunt Bees homemade pickles and replace them with better store
bought ones.
Episode 44 "Sheriff Barney"
Barney gets offered
a job as Sheriff of another town. Andy lets Barney be sheriff of Mayberry
for a day and he realizes that he is not ready for the job.
Episode 45 "Farmer Takes a Wife"
A farmer
visits Mayberry looking for a wife. He chooses Thelma Lou who Andy
convinces to accept. Thelma then tries to turn the farmer into a city man
and the farmer flees.
Episode 46 "The Keeper of the Flame"
Opie joins
a secret club and is blamed for the fire that burns the barn where they
meet down. Barney later discovers that the owner of the barn actually set
it on fire.
Episode 47 "Bailey's Bad Boy"
A rich teenager
threatens Andy after he is arrested.
Episode 48 "The Manicurist"
A manicurist comes
to town and takes up a space in Floyd's barber shop.
Episode 49 "The Jinx"
A local man is accused of
being a jinx. Andy tries in vain to clear him.
Episode 50 "Jailbreak"
Andy and Barney capture
criminals pursued by the state police.
Episode 51 "A Medal for Opie"
Opie tries to win
a medal in the Sheriff's Boys Race after being coached by Barney. Opie
loses and Andy teaches him a lesson on sportsmanship.
Episode 52 "Barney and the Choir"
Barney joins
the choir and they do not have the heart to kick him out.
Episode 53 "Guest of Honor"
Mayberry gives the
key to the city to a pickpocket.
Episode 54 "The Merchant of Mayberry"
Barney
and Andy help a salesman against the wishes of town scrooge Ben Weaver.
Episode 55 "Aunt Bee the Warden"
Aunt Bee
decides to rehabilitate Otis the town drunk after the Sheriff brings him
home to sleep off a night of drinking.
Episode 56 "The County Nurse"
Andy convinces a
resident to get a tetanus shot from the nurse.
Episode 57 "Andy and Barney in the Big City"
Barney gets involved with a jewel thief in the big city.
Episode 58 "Wedding Bells for Aunt Bee"
Aunt
Bee gets convinced that Andy is not getting married because of her. She
makes up a fake Fiancé to attempt to stay out of the way.
Episode 59 "Three's a Crowd"
Barney is always in the way when Andy is trying to court Nurse Mary
Simpson.
Episode 60 "The Bookie Barber"
Floyd brings in another Barber who ends up being a bookie. |
